Nowadays, the transport and storage of reusable cups is usually done in standard catering containers. These are strong containers that are used for different things, but are not at all adapted to the complex process that the reusable cup has to go through. For example, there is no quality control possible and it has many sharp corners and edges where dirt and moisture can get stuck. In addition, the bar process at an event has not yet been adapted to the reusable cup. It is very complex and not ergonomic at all.

Cup co. is a product line that supports the reusable cup in the complex process that it must go through. The product line consists of four products: the Cup co. Safe, Counter, Wallet and Bank.

The Cup co. Safe is a collection container for the transport and storage of reusable cups of 25 and 30 cl. The Safe is completely adapted to the dimensions of these cups so that they fit perfectly and can be stacked as efficiently as possible. It features ergonomic handles and a seal for quality assurance. The Cup co. Counter is a collection and counting system for dirty reusable cups at the counter of an event. When the different tubes are filled to the top with dirty cups, there are just enough cups in them so that the towers with cups fit perfectly in the Cup co. Safe fit. The Cup co. Wallet is a collection system for tokens at the counter of an event. It is a single tube with a funnel-shaped lid with a round hole in it. This ensures that you can put a large amount of tokens in it at the same time. So you no longer have to insert them one by one through a slot. This saves a lot of time. The Cup co. Bench is a counter module for storing and collecting both dirty and clean reusable cups. The preparations and making of the drinks will also be carried out on this bar module.

The Cup co. product line ensures that the process of the reusable can be done in an efficient and easy way. This creates added value in various areas that must convince organizers to switch to reusable.

This is a very relevant fact because from 2020 there will be a new law that says that you can only use reusable cups during events, unless they can be recycled for 90% (OVAM, 2019). As a result, many events will have to switch to reusable cups. After the corona pandemic, hygiene will also play a more important role in reusable cups. A survey showed that almost half of the organizers have little or no confidence that the reusable cups will actually arrive completely hygienically (Sustainable Event Alliance, 2020).
