Sustainable water management

Water is key in every aspect of life. The natural environment is dependent of the ecology of aquatic systems. These systems are used both as a resource and as a sink by industrial technology and by society. Human activity adversely affects environmental status and human health. To sustain the environment, Society and government need to take educated decisions to safeguard the equilibrium between human societal and economical functioning and environmental quality standards. A dedicated education & training system is indispensable to attain the necessary public and governmental awareness.

Sustainable Water Management is your guide to your point of interest in water related questions at the University of Antwerp and her multidisciplinary research groups.
