At StatUa, we believe that sound statistical knowledge is essential for high-quality research. Our courses are designed to help researchers develop the statistical skills they need to analyse data with confidence, make informed methodological decisions, and communicate their findings clearly.
We offer a broad range of training courses covering both the fundamental principles of statistics and more advanced statistical methods. Our courses combine theoretical background with practical, hands-on exercises, enabling participants to immediately apply what they learn to their own research.
Our training programme is primarily aimed at PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and other researchers affiliated with the University of Antwerp. However, all courses are also open to participants from other universities, research institutions, government organisations, and the private sector.
The course portfolio includes introductory and advanced topics such as:
Basic principles of statistics
Introduction to R
Linear Regression Analysis
Categorical Data Analysis
Multilevel Analysis
Multivariate Statistics
Power Analysis and Sample Size Calculation
... and other specialized statistical topics.
