Michael George Marcondes Smith, PhD candidate and member of the Law and Development Research Group, was awarded the 2025 Matthieu et al. prize for young researchers (Aanmoedigingsbeurs voor jonge vorsers). The prize aims to reward and encourage research centred on issues of great human suffering. It is given in the form of a €2.000,00 project funding that will be destined to validation and dissemination activities related to Michael's PhD research.
