The Molecular Imaging Lab is actively supported by the University of Antwerp to facilitate collaborative projects between different academic research groups.

Together with the Bio Imaging Lab, we operate a CORE facility that consolidates key preclinical imaging expertise and infrastructure within the University of Antwerp. The available equipment enables virtual sectioning of living laboratory animals, allowing quantitative monitoring of anatomical, morphological, physiological, and molecular processes over time in the same animal. In addition to the in vivo multimodal imaging systems, the facility also provides access to Bioluminescence and Fluorescence imaging, animal monitoring systems, microsurgery expertise, and a radioprotected laboratory animal facility.
