On June 19th, 2025 the University of Antwerp and the Antwerp University Hospital kindly organised the event "Global Health, Local Strengths: Connecting centers of Excellence in R&D and Pharma Logistics" in the Belgian Pavilion at the World Expo in Osaka.
Located in the center of Europe, Flanders is a vibrant hub for innovative Research and Development and Pharma Logistics excellence. The importance of strong ecosystems and collaborations as drivers for innovation and excellence will be highlighted during our two panel discussions:
- Flanders as a Logistics Pharma hotspot and ecosystem: panel discussion organised by the University of Antwerp and Nippon Express
- Innovative health R&D synergies: Antwerp meets Japan: panel discussion organised by the University of Antwerp, the Antwerp University Hospital and the University of Osaka
The panel discussions were preceded by a welcome by Julie Bynens, Secretary General at the Flanders Chancellery and Foreign Office, and Steven Van Passel, Vice-Rector Valorisation and Sustainability at the University of Antwerp.
