Elisabeth Vanhoutte holds a master degree in philology (French & Spanish), as well as an academic teaching degree.

She started out as a freelance editor for travel books and branded content. It didn’t take long for her to completely go mad for Branded Content & Content Marketing. Combining editorial, marketing & new media expertise, one could say she pioneered in the field when she launched Belgium's very first digital magazine back in 2009. Her work got awarded numerous times both in Belgium and abroad.

Later on, she focused more on societal relevance by introducing the brand Rode Neuzen Dag, as well as on digital strategy & change management, by drafting and implementing the digital transformation for SOS Kinderdorpen Belgium. Currently, she’s heading the Communication & Marketing Department at University of Antwerp.
