Abstract
Today's most popular instruments for ecosystem services and poverty alleviation overlook the complexity of socio-ecological systems. Stressing the significance of institutions and local actors' construction of pathways of change, we analyse the need for, and potential of, a more integrated approach for a more effective contribution to sustainable and inclusive rural development.Researcher(s)
