Navid Hasheminejad is an FWO postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Antwerp. His primary research interest lies in investigating the mechanical properties of materials using various optical measurement systems. Currently, his main research project is BITuminous Mortars: an Accelerated testing APproach (BITMA²P), funded by the junior postdoctoral fellowship of FWO. He is also the supervisor of two ongoing PhD studies: 1) Characterization of asphalt pavement properties using fiber Bragg technology, and 2) Investigation of Crack Resistance and Healing in BITuminous materials (CrasHBIT).
