Tom Vos is a full-time visiting professor at the Jean-Pierre Blumberg Chair, where he conducts research and teaching on corporate governance. His current focus is on short-termism in corporate governance, using methods from the economic analysis of law, including empirical methods. Tom obtained a PhD at the KU Leuven on shareholder protection in share issuances, with Veerle Colaert and Marieke Wyckaert as his supervisors and with a fellowship from the FWO. Tom also obtained the degree of research master in law from KU Leuven (magna cum laude) and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School.
