Buddy programme

Starting your studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Antwerp is an exciting step. New courses, a new campus, a new city and perhaps even a new country: there is a lot to take in. That is why, at the Faculty of Law, you are not on your own!

Through the buddy programme, the Faculty of Law matches new international students with experienced fellow students. Your buddy can help you settle in more quickly by answering practical questions, sharing useful tips and introducing you to student life at the Faculty and in Antwerp.

The buddy programme is also an opportunity to make connections right from the start, feel at home and begin your studies with confidence. After all, a familiar face makes a world of difference.

For the buddies, it is a valuable experience too: they can learn to coach, perhaps speak a foreign language, strengthen their leadership and communication skills, make new friends and actively contribute to a warm and inclusive student community.
