The study programme counsellor gives you advice about your study career, about the composition of your study programme and/or about your admission.
When can you consult a study programma counsellor?
If you have questions about your study progress, meaning the follow-up of your study course and study programme or about your learning account.
If you want advice concerning your study advancement. The study programme counsellor will detect possible difficulties with you and suggest possible solutions.
To advice you about your individual study course. Be aware: this advisory function is different in each faculty.
To give you advice on preparing your file for the approval by the faculty organ, if it concerns:
- Individual studieprograms, applying for exemptions and shorter study duration, bridging programs and preparatory programs,
- Study progress and possible reorientation,
- Regulations about study progress and learning accounts,
- Moments of choice and decissions in the study career (specialisation, master, profession, ...)

In most faculties you can make an appointment with the study programma counsellor by using the online helpdesk of your faculty. Because of organizational reasons the task responsibilities of the study programma counsellor in your faculty can have (minor) differences.
