5 more years of high quality accreditation for the Faculty of Business and Economics of UAntwerp and AMS | February 02, 2021

We are so proud to announce that both Antwerp Management School (AMS) and the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Antwerp (FBE) extend their business accreditation by AACSB International for another 5 years. “Under the umbrella of the University of Antwerp, AMS and FBE are AACSB accredited since 2005. Receiving the maximum extension possible (5 years) highlights the high quality of our programs in business, management and economics”, says Prof. Koen Vandenbempt, Dean FBE.

Established in 1916, AACSB is the longest serving global accrediting body for Business Schools and the world’s largest global business education network, connecting educational institutions and businesses to develop exceptional global leaders. Only the best schools around the world can meet the consistent, demanding requirements of earning AACSB Accreditation—the highest standard of quality in the world. Today, there are 882 Business Schools in about 57 countries and territories or with an AACSB Accreditation, which is less than 6 percent of the world's business programs .

“We fully commit towards AACBS’s mission to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education, and we look forward to continuing this journey”, concludes Prof. Steven De Haes, Dean AMS.
