The name of the medieval Dominican and theologian Thomas Aquinas is widely known, but the same cannot be said of the content of his thought. And although knowledge of it is often lacking, his thinking has helped shape the world in important ways right up to the present day.
With this series of educational evenings we aim to remedy this shortcoming. On each occasion we invite a Thomas Aquinas expert to speak on a particular topic in Dutch. Afterwards there will be time for questions and conversation – naturally with a good glass of Dominican beer in hand.
In this way we hope not only to discover Thomas's historical significance, but also his relevance for our thinking as believers today.
