Contribute to language training for refugees
What is the goal of the One-year Dutch Programme?
The University of Antwerp wants to contribute to the integration of refugees in our country. Some of them would benefit greatly from starting or continuing their higher education studies. For example, young people who never got the chance to complete, or even start, a study programme in their country of birth, or people with a higher education diploma that is not fully recognised in Belgium.
Linguapolis, UAntwerp's language institute, offers an intensive one-year Dutch programme to such people who are preparing to enter Dutch-taught higher education. The goal is for these students to obtain the ITNA certificate, attesting that they meet the language requirements for enrolling in Dutch-taught programmes at Flemish colleges and universities.
What does the One-year Dutch Programme cost?
The enrolment fee is 4.795 euros per student for the entire academic year. Since the course is not subsidised by the Flemish government, we would like to appeal to your generosity so that we can offer this course free of charge to student refugees with very limited resources.
