Meet the local organizers
The STI Indicators Conference series, jointly organized by the hosting institution and ENID (European Network of Indicator Designers), has a long tradition of bringing together leading experts in science, technology, and innovation policy. Previous editions have taken place in Leiden (2010, 2014, 2018, 2023), Rome (2011, 2019), Montréal (2012), Berlin (2013, 2024), Lugano (2015), València (2016), Paris (2017), the virtual event hosted by Aarhus University in 2021, Granada (2022), and Bristol (2025).
Now, in 2026, the spotlight turns to Antwerp. From 9-11 September 2026, the University of Antwerp will become the vibrant hub of the global STI community, where researchers, policymakers, and practitioners will come together to present their work and reflect on Indicators for a responsible research future.
Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee for STI-ENID 2026 brings together a dedicated team of experts with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Their goal is to facilitate a vibrant conference programme that:
- Encourages meaningful dialogue on a broad range of topics
