The academic year starts on Monday 22 September 2025. Besides the reception at your faculty, in the afternoon we kick off the year festively with Students on Stage at Sint-Jansplein and the Campus Kick-Off at Campus Groenenborger.
Official opening
We will officially open the academic year on Thursday 25 September 2025. There are no classes that day. Check the event page here.
Following the academic opening, STAN will organise the welcome party StuDay.
Not just a free party, but a unique moment to bring all Antwerp students together in one location, welcome them to Antwerp, get to know each other and what the city has to offer.
Party, culture, music, information, sports or relaxation: the offerings all pass by.
