You are a student if you are registered as a student at the University of Antwerp and you do not have an employment contract through the HR Department. This includes:
- Exchange students
- Degree students
- Visting Research Students (VRS)
- PhD students (If you are receiving a doctoral scholarship agreement, you are also considered a student for immigration purposes.)
