If you are a national of a European Economic Area (EEA) country—an EU member state, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein—or of Switzerland, you can travel to Belgium without a visa.
You’ll only need to bring:
A valid international passport or identity card.
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) that proves you are affiliated with a health insurance provider in your home country.
If you are staying more than 1 semester, you will have to apply for a residence permit upon arrival.
