From the Airport of Madrid

Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is the most frequently used gateway to Valladolid.

TRAIN from Madrid to Valladolid: take the TRAIN to travel from Madrid Airport to Valladolid. Trains depart from Madrid Chamartín Train Station, which is not located in the Airport. You need therefore to commute by Train or Metro.

  • TRAIN from Madrid Airport (Adolfo Suárez) to Madrid Chamartín Train Station: trains depart from Terminal T4, floor -1, every 15-20 minutes. The fare is 2.60 EUR, one-way ticket (1), and the ride lasts ~11 minutes. More information here. (To move from other terminals, there is a free shuttle service every 5 minutes).
  • METRO from Madrid Airport (Adolfo Suárez) to Madrid Chamartín Train Station: the airport has two metro stations: "Aeropuerto T1-T2-T3" (terminal T2, floor 1) and "Aeropuerto T4" (terminal T4, floor -1). Take the Metro and step out in Nuevos Ministerios Station (line 8). Change trains to take line 10 from Nuevos Ministerios Station to Chamartín Station (four stops). TRAIN from Madrid Chamartín Train Station to Valladolid

Take the HIGH-SPEED TRAIN to Valladolid-Campo Grande Station (not Valladolid Universidad), i.e. AVE, ALVIA, AVANT or AV City. The ride lasts ~1h10min. Note that if you take another train (i.e. Media Distancia, MD), the ride will last ~3 hours. The fare is 25-37 EUR (one-way ticket) and departs every 20-30 minutes, depending on the time range. From Valladolid Train station to Valladolid city centre

The TAXI is the most convenient public transportation to reach the hotel. You can alternatively take a recommended WALK to the city centre (~15 minutes).

BUS from Madrid Airport to Valladolid

You can also take an intercity bus from Madrid Airport to Valladolid. The bus departs from terminal T4, floor 0. The fare is ~16-22 EUR and the ride lasts ~3 hours depending on the time range. More information in ALSA Website. From Valladolid bus station to the residence, you can have a 20 minutes’ walk or take the bus: line 9 to Plaza Madrid 3 or line 2 to Plaza España Bola del Mundo.

From Valladolid Airport

If you plan to travel to Valladolid Airport, the most convenient mode of getting to the City Centre is by TAXI. The tariff is ~20 EUR. However, you can also take the BUS from the airport. The fare is 3.00 EUR (one-way ticket) and the approximate frequency is 90 minutes. More information here.
