Guest Rooms - UEF Kuopio Campus
A single guest room in the UEF Kuopio Campus has been booked for all ESRs (non-Finland residents) from Sunday March 15 to Friday March 20. The guest rooms are situated at the Canthia and Snellmania buildings (please see the map in the next slide). All rooms have a shared kitchen with a fridge, stove, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a water boiler and cutlery. As well, they have shared toilets and shower facilities (incl. washing machine and dryer). Each room has also a television.
The Eduroam network, which can be accessed with an organisation-specific Eduroam account, is available in the guest rooms. If the guest does not have an Eduroam account, an open WLAN network, UEF-OPEN, is also available.
Getting to the Guest Rooms
There are several bus connections from the city center to the university (Yliopisto in Finnish): bus numbers 4, 7, 16, 21, 23, 29, 31, 35, 40. The bus ride costs 3.40 EUR. Payment with cash only! The bus stops are:
- Canthia E if you come from the city center (Keskusta in Finnish)
- Snellmania P or Viestikatu I, if you go direction to the city center.
