From Kuopio Airport
By bus
Bus line 40 operates from Kuopio airport to Kuopio city centre and the university. Single ticket price for a bus ride from Airport to Kuopio city is 5.50 EUR. More information can also be found on the website from the Kuopio Region Public Transportation here. Please note that no buses are operating from the airport on Sunday.
By taxi
It might also be easier to take a taxi, which will cost you 45 EUR approx. from the airport to the city center or the university. It is highly recommended to call the taxi beforehand.
