Flanders and the Province of Antwerp province aim, by 2030, to reduce 30% of the material footprint consumption through a circular economy (CE) approach. The ATLANTES project aims to support the CE approach by developing an online platform, which visualises waste streams to and from the Province of Antwerp between 2017 and 2019. By analysing waste streams, the project seeks to help governments and public agencies to maximise the impact of their decision towards a CE transition, and it allows businesses to find and reuse waste materials on a province scale.
