The Cytek Aurora is an advanced spectral flow cytometer designed for high-dimensional, multi-parameter analysis of single cells. Unlike conventional flow cytometers, which rely on discrete optical filters, the Aurora uses full-spectrum detection to capture emission profiles of fluorochromes. This enables improved resolution of highly overlapping fluorophores and allows the simultaneous measurement of a large number of fluorophores within a single sample.
Because the Aurora captures full emission spectra, it can also characterize cellular autofluorescence as a distinct spectral signature. This autofluorescence can be incorporated into the unmixing process, allowing it to be effectively separated from true fluorescence signals. As a result, the Aurora is particularly well suited for analysis of highly autofluorescent cells.
Equipped with 5 lasers and a highly sensitive detector array, the Cytek Aurora support complex panel design and facilitates in-dept immunophenotyping, functional assays and rare cell population analysis. Its spectral unmixing technology enhances flexibility in fluorochrome selection and increases the accuracy of signal separation, even in challenging experimental setups.
Combined with intuitive software and robust data analysis tools, the Cytek Aurora enables researchers to generate high-quality, reproducible data and gain deeper insights into cellular heterogeneity.
