CONSIDER: Sustainable Management of Industrial Heritage as a Resource for Urban Development

The CONSIDER "Sustainable Management of Industrial Heritage as a Resource for Urban Development", aims to develop sustainable management model (SMM) for industrial heritage sites (IHS) for the benefits of the local communities as a resource for strengthening collective identities, improving the urban landscape, promoting ecofriendly solutions, and contributing to the urban economy and a sustainable future of the city. Funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No:101008186, the Staff Exchange Programme enables collaborative work between academic and non-academic partners, with a focus on Newcastle, Zollverein, Antwerp, Vienna, Istanbul and Haifa. The academic members of the CONSIDER Consortium are University of Antwerp (BE), University of Newcastle (UK), University of Ruhr in Bochum (DE), Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (IL), Kadir Has University (TR), Huazhong University (CN). The non-academic members of the consortium are Newcastle City Council (UK), Tyne and Wear Preservation Trust (UK), Zollverein Stiftung (DE), EUTROPIAN (AT), Kadikoy Municipality (TR), Haifa Municipality (IL).
