Scalesciani House (1977) – Alberto Ponis

Casa Scalesciani (1977), by Alberto Ponis, is set into the granite cliffs of Costa Paradiso, Sardinia. Its walls follow free, irregular lines, and its floors rise and fall with the rock. From the path above, the house almost disappears into the hillside. The Mediterranean is never out of sight, and the line between inside and outside all but dissolves.
