Molecular epidemiology of drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis

About

Elise completed her Master of Science in epidemiology at the Epidemiology and Social Medicine (ESOC) department at the University of Antwerp in 2017. After obtaining her MSc, she started her PhD at the faculty of medicine and health sciences. She joined the Centre for Whole Genome Sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in October 2017 where she applies her background in infectious disease epidemiology to gain knowledge with regards to emergence, transmission dynamics, and control of drug resistant TB.
