The area of Design Studies and Education focuses on the exploration, development, and advancement of design knowledge, methodologies, and pedagogies in architecture and interior architecture.
Within this research area we investigate the creative processes, tools, and strategies that shape design thinking and practice, emphasising the interplay between theory and application. We examine how design education evolves in response to societal, technological, and environmental challenges, fostering innovation in teaching approaches, curricular development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
By engaging with contemporary debates and emerging design paradigms, we aim to enhance the quality of design education and contribute to the broader discourse on the role of design in shaping the built environment.
