In 2021, a spin-off company of our research group was founded: D-CRBN. Co-founders (and shareholders) are Gill Scheltjens (CEO), David Ziegler (CCO), Georgi Trenchev (CTO) and Annemie Bogaerts (member of the Board of Directors). The aim of this company is to scale up our plasma technology for CO2 conversion into CO, and build larger plasma reactors, of interest for reducing the CO2 emissions in the (petro)chemical, steel and energy industry.
