Inger De Wilde obtained her Master of Laws degree at the University of Ghent (2001). Before joining the research group Public Administration and Management (2011), she has been a member of the Brussels bar (Claeys & Engels, 2001-2004), has done scientific research as a teaching assistant at the University of Ghent (2003-2009) and worked (part-time) as a legal consultant (SD Worx, 2009-2013). Her research focuses on public administration with a special attention for labour law and HRM. On 6 July 2016 Inger obtained her PhD title in Law with a thesis called 'Flexicurity in the Public Sector. An analysis of the possibility to (unilateral) modify individual and collective terms and conditions of employment regarding public sector contractors '. Currently Inger works as a postdoc researcher affiliated to the Chair "Kenniscel Pensioenen".
