Jelle De Schrijver teaches the didactics of Philosophy and History at the Academic Teacher Training Programme of Antwerp School of Education. He studied biology and philosophy and obtained a PhD on empathy and moral judgement at Ghent University. As leader of research centre ExploRatio - Odisee, he coordinates practice-based research on critical thinking in education. In his research, he focuses on the role (philosophical) dialogue plays in generating critical thinking about sustainability, citizenship, history, (mis)information or science.
