Human Rights in Development
My current research in the areas of human rights, children's rights and 'law and development' focuses on the following issues:
- sustainable development, de-growth and economic, social and cultural rights
- human rights obligations of foreign states and non-state actors, in particular companies
- law and development as a field of study, including human rights-based approaches to development (HRBAD 2.0)
- children's rights: a legal commentary on the Convention on the Rights of the Child; inter-country adoption; international child abduction
