COVID-19 information for international applicants

We understand that applicants and offer holders may have concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and implications for studying at the University of Antwerp next academic year. We want to reassure you that the University of Antwerp is still open for business, though all educational activities are currently online and our staff works from home. We are continually reviewing the COVID-19 developments in Belgium and around the world and taking all the necessary steps to be as flexible as we can to support you.

Changes to EEA* application deadline
Given the dire situation in Europe, the deadline for submitting legalised documents of 31 May for applicants with an EEA nationality has been shifted to 15 June 2020. Please check the COVID-19 frequently asked questions in the International Helpdesk.

If you have an immediate concern or need some help, please contact us through the International Helpdesk.
