Admission requirements

  • Direct: academic bachelor of biochemistry and biotechnology

Holders of a diploma of academic bachelor of biology obtained at the UHasselt have direct access to the master of biochemistry and biotechnology provided they have successfully completed certain programme components in their bachelor programme. The list with programme components is available from the study progress counsellor.

  • With a preparatory programme: academic bachelor of biomedical sciences, biology, bio-engineering sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, medicine and veterinary medicine; NL: bachelor biomedical sciences, biology, veterinary sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, medicine, bio-pharmaceutical sciences, 
  • After permission: other academic bachelors or masters, to check with the study progress counsellor. For professional bachelors a shortened bachelor is available
