If you have multiple impairments, submit the required documents for each impairment.

Required documents for foreign students

If you don't hold the belgian nationality, you can make an appointment with a care coordinator. The care coordinator can determine which documents are required.

Motoric, visual or auditive impairments or chronic illnesses

(1)    At least one of these documents is required: 

  • Proof of registration with VAPH (Flemish agency for people with disabilities)
  • Federal Government Service (FOD) certificate acknowledging disability from the Directorate-General for People with Disabilities

Options:

  1. Certificate of increased child benefit
  2. Certificate of income-replacement allowance
  3. Integration allowance
  • A report written by the Student Guidance Center (CLB)

(2)    Own documentation:

  • Report signed by the treating psysician

(3)    Documentation funtional impairment:

Psychiatric disability

(1)    At least one of these documents is required: 

  • Proof of registration with VAPH (Flemish agency for people with disabilities)​
  • Federal Government Service (FOD) certificate acknowledging disability from the Directorate-General for People with Disabilities

Concentration disorder
