Coming to Antwerp
Most international travelers will probably arrive at Brussels airport (BRU). Good ways to go from the airport to Antwerp are:
- By train. About every half hour there is a train from the airport to Antwerp, which takes about 30 minutes. Check the schedule (from: 'Brussels airport - Zaventem'; to: 'Antwerpen-Centraal' or 'Antwerpen-Berchem', depending on where you stay).
- By bus. The airport express bus travels directly from the airport to Antwerp in about 45 minutes.

Public transport
Buses and trams are operated by De Lijn.
Ticket for 90 minutes journey can be bought:
- At the driver,
- At automated ticket machines (in some bus/tram stops),
- At the public transport shops 'Lijnwinkel': at Central station or at the metro station Groenplaats
Note: Tickets must be validated when boarding a bus or tram.
