As experimental physicist I have 10 years of experience in data analysis on particle collisions recorded by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC accelerator. My main objective was to understand the structure and dynamics of the proton in a precise way, by conducting novel measurements. During this journey I learned about particle-detector techniques, scientific computing, programming, and the statistical treatment of big complex datasets to extract the relevant information and present it to a scientific audience.
Currently I just started working on gravitational wave instrumentation. I will contribute to the development of ETPathfinder, a prototype interferometer for the future planned Einstein Telescope observatory, and the current operational Virgo detector.
