I am doing my PhD in Antwerp and I hold two Masters: in Applied Economics (U. of Antwerp) and the Research Master in Economics with focus in Econometrics (ULB-ECARES). Before moving to Belgium, I lived in Uruguay, where I did my B.A and I worked as a consultant and as research assistant.
My research focuses on the measurment of multidimensional inequality, big data, machine learning and microsimulation.
Other topics of interest are behavioural economics, gender inequality and history of economic thought.
I have expertise in using Python and Stata. In 2016 I was finalist of the Econometrics Game, the world cup of econometrics organized by the University of Amsterdam.
I am fluent in Spanish and English, and proficient in French. Italian is forthcoming.
