Currently some videos are circulating on social media in which UAntwerp employees express themselves in an insulting way, in a mutual conversation after a practical exam, about students and population groups.
UAntwerp condemns every kind of racism. We consider the diversity of society as an enrichment and an added value through which we can learn from each other, and work together towards a society of mutual respect, based on human rights.
Our university therefore wants to offer equal opportunities and maximum development possibilities to everyone. Working on diversity requires a sustained effort and a constructive, positive attitude. As a university, we will invest even more than before in a respectful culture among employees and students.
