Performed secondments

On this page, you can find real evidence of the execution of secondments within the OncoProTools project and learn about the destination and executed research during these research stays abroad. These secondments allow the Doctoral Candidates (DCs) to experience an intersectoral environment (Academy/Clinic/Industry) to collaborate with their peers and access broader research facilities to develop their projects.

Hugo visits Copenhagen!

Hugo Boutier, PhD fellow at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), visited the University of Copenhagen to work on innovative UniCAR Target Modules (TMs) for both cancer diagnosis and treatment. During this research stay, Hugo closely collaborated with Simona Mattiussi, PhD fellow at the University of Copenhagen, under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Herth and Assistant Prof. Umberto Maria Battisti.

Adrianna visits Antwerp

Adrianna Bilińska and Elena Menendez, both from the Radiopharmacy Lab at the University of Bern, visited the University of Antwerp in February 2024 to receive training in immunohistochemistry under the expertise of Yentl Van Rymenant and the supervision of Prof. Ingrid De Meester at the Laboratory of Medical Biochemistry.

Héctor visits Dresden!

Hector Caballero, PhD fellow at Cellply, performed a secondment to the Helmholtz Zentrum Dresden Rossendorf (HZDR) from February to April 2024 to dive into the innovative UniCAR T technology, collaborating closely with Hugo Boutier under the guidance of Dr. Anja Feldmann, Dr. Liliana Loureiro, and Dr. Claudia Arndt.
