Practical information

Where?

The course will be delivered via an innovative “blended” approach:

-       Online asynchronous and synchronous lecturing using the online platform Microsoft TEAMS (27th-30th November);

-       3 days (5th-7th December) of intensive in person activities at the University of Genoa, Italy.

The course is organized by the Italian Center of Excellence for Logistics Transport and Infrastructure (CIELI), University of Genova (Italy) as part of the Unige Doctoral Programme in Marine Science and Technology.


When?

27th November – 30th November 2023: Online delivery

5th December – 7th December 2023: In-class delivery


Who?

PhD students and postgraduates with a strong interest in shipbuilding and related supply chains.

The course is also open to practitioners interested in developing a specialisation in the ship production process and related industry and policy issues.

Credits

5 ECTS credits are awarded upon successful completion of the full (online + in-class) programme.

3 ECTS credits for the completion of the online module only.
