On Friday 17 September 2010, the Law and Development Research Group welcomed Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor of NLU Delhi and Prof (Dr.) Maheshwar Singh, Associate Professor. In 2009, a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded with NLU that encourages joint research and exchange of academic staff.
