The NANOlab center of excellence consists of seven research groups (EMAT, AXIS, A Sense Lab, CMT, PLASMANT, DuEL, EnvEcon) with complementary expertise in the field of nanoscience and nanomaterials.
The consortium offers a unique combination of multi-disciplinary expertise important for the further development and use of nanomaterials in actual devices, ranging from physics (EMAT, CMT), chemistry (PLASMANT, AXIS), bio-science engineering (DuEL, A Sense Lab) to business and economics (EnvEcon).
The research statement of the NanoLab consortium is to rationally design and use nanomaterials in fields as diverse as plasmonics, electrosensing, nanomagnetism and in applications such as art conservation, environment and sustainable energy
