The next Postdoc Day will take place on 9 June 2026 at Hof van Liere on the Stadscampus. For the first time, it will be organised as a full-day event. Organised by RIVA and the HR Department, the day offers postdocs and final-year PhD researchers opportunities to learn, develop skills, explore career paths, and connect with peers.
Morning (09:00 – 12:00): In-depth workshops on career self-insight, managing perfectionism, and grant writing.
Networking lunch (12:00 – 13:00): Connect with fellow postdocs over lunch.
Afternoon (13:00 – 17:00): Plenary sessions and short pitches on postdoc initiatives are followed by break-out sessions on life after postdocs, valorising research, and science communication. The afternoon also includes a debate on postdocs as future leaders and concludes with a quiz.
