In October 2012, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the research group and the Centro de Investigación, Capacitación y Asesoría Jurídica (The Centre for Research, Capacity Building and Legal Assistance) and the Centre for Democracy and Human Rights of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (Lima, Peru), to encourage joint research and exchange of academic staff.
