About the Master of Business Economics

During this Master you develop a profound knowledge in business and focus on your areas of interests at the same time. You will have plenty of opportunities to integrate practical experience into your education: write a Master's thesis, follow guest lectures, take part in a Career Development Track, etc.

What does the programme look like?

In this Master's programme, you have a lot of freedom to shape your curriculum by combining a major and minor of your choice. 

Major and minor

Selecting a major and a minor allows you to specialise and to tailor the programme to your personal interests. You can choose from the following topics:

Compulsory courses

​All students enrolled on this Master's programme take four compulsory courses that improve their ability to recognise and resolve business administration issues in a methodologically sound and effective manner.

Master's Thesis

The Master's Thesis is the crowning piece of an academic Master's curriculum. Your Master's Thesis demonstrates your in-depth knowledge of the foundations, structures and methodologies underpinning the Business Economics programme.

Practical information

Ready to become a Master in Business Economics?

​​If you meet the entry and language requirements, you can enrol for this one-year Master's programme. As a student from within the European Economic Area, you can apply for the academic year 2021-2022 until 15 May 2021. For students outside the EEA, the application deadline has passed. If you live within the Benelux, you have time to enrol until 1 October 2021. For the academic year 2022 - 2023, applications start as of December 1st 2021. Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you might be able to start if you follow a preparatory programme.
