Micro-credential: Climate change: the physical basis

Learning outcomes

This micro-credential focuses on the following learning outcomes.

1. The participant has gained insight in the causes and consequences of climate change.

2. The participant has gained insight in the interactions between climate change and natural systems.

3. The participant has gained insight in the key actions needed to limit climate change.

Practical information

Lectures will be held on Wednesdays from 1.30 p.m. to 8 p.m on Campus Middelheim.

We view students' presence on campus as mutually beneficial, yet we also recognize the need for flexibility, particularly for those balancing work and study commitments. 

Therefore, a basic livestream option (audio only, no camera, limited interaction) for remote participation is set up, and, if permitted by the lecturer, recordings of the livestream will also be available.

Evaluation

When attending all lectures (attendance of at least 80% of classes) and successfully passing the multiple choice exam, 6 credits will be awarded.

You will receive an exemption for this course unit if you decide to register for the Postgraduate of Energy & Climate afterwards.
