Tuition fees and cost of living

Your tuition fee depends on your nationality, the programme you’re enrolled in, and the number of credits you take on. The fee is subject to yearly revision. You can find more detailed and recent information on the general tuition fee pages of University of Antwerp

The International Students Office of the University of Antwerp estimated the living costs based on a survey completed by degree‑seeking students who studied in Antwerp during the 2024–2025 academic year. According to this estimate, students should foresee €17,000 to €18,000 per year for living expenses (excluding tuition fees). More details here.

Students enrolled in the Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy programme should also budget for additional local transportation costs (train, bus). This is because the courses in the second master year are organised in collaboration with partner universities in Flanders, and clinical internships may take place in hospitals and rehabilitation centres outside Antwerp.

The University of Antwerp directly participates in the selection process of certain scholarship programmes. In addition students can also check if they are eligible for external funding opportunities. More information about scholarships can be found here.
