Standard application procedure

All applications for our summer and winter schools are submitted and processed through the enrolment platform Mobility Online. They are evaluated by the academic committee and the programme coordinators of the summer and winter schools. 

Important! Check your inbox (and spam folder) for automatic emails after each step in Mobility Online. 

  • Step 1: Open and complete the application form via the link below to start your application. 

  • Step 2: Check your inbox to find the instructions to create an account in Mobility Online. You will receive your account information via email to log in to Mobility Online. 

  • Step 3: Complete the next steps in Mobility Online: you will need to complete your personal details, upload a profile picture and a copy of your passport (not for UAntwerp student and staff), and complete extra questions to motivate your application. 

  • Step 4: Once your application has been completed, the organisers will assess your application. More information will be sent via email. 

  • Step 5: If your application is accepted, you will receive an email including a payment invitation. From this email, you can log back in to Mobility Online and complete your payment online. You will be able to choose from several online payment options: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Paypal, Google Pay, Sofort, Bancontact, KBC and IDEAL.  The online payment platform is only accessible with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, please do not use any other browsers. Within an hour after succesfully paying the tuition fee, you will receive a confirmation email with a proof of payment document in attachment.

Closer to the summer or winter school, the organisers will send practical information and course information via email to confirmed participants. 

Application procedure for Antwerp Summer University Combinations

If you wish to apply for two consecutive summer schools within an Antwerp Summer University combination, the steps outlined above remain valid, with a few minor differences. Please follow the instructions below to ensure everything is processed smoothly.

  • In the application form, indicate that you want to apply for two consecutive summer schools within an ASU combination.
  • After submitting your application for the first summer school, your application will be copied. You will be notified by email once the copying has been completed. For the second programme, you will then only need to complete the programme-specific questions, without re-entering all personal and administrative details.
  • Within a period of two weeks, you will be informed about the outcome of your applications and will receive confirmation whether you are admitted to one or both programmes.
  • Based on this decision, you will then be able to complete the required payment(s) via Mobility Online for the programme(s) to which you have been admitted. If you are admitted to both programmes, the 5% discount will be applied.
