During this event you will be informed about the differences between the academic and private sectors, how to prepare for this transition, and how to highlight the skills acquired during your doctoral studies. The event is also an opportunity to talk with people who have recently made this "big leap" and to share experiences. The event will be lead by Michel Herquet, PhD & Partner at Yuma (ex-B12 Consulting).

The workshop will firstly focus on explaining the interplay between mathematical and statistical modeling and AI for disease spread modelling and mitigation and secondly on the challenges and methods for communicating the results to the general public. Pre-registration and abstract submission are open.

In the webinar experts in AI research, editorial practice and policy will explore how AI can support different stages of the research process. They will share practical guidance on using AI effectively while highlighting where human judgement and subject expertise remain essential.
